First of all NO, I'm NOT crazy, so just chill & hear me out before you throw me out with the baby and the bath water. The definition of jealousy is:

"feeling resentment against someone because of that person's rivalry, success, or advantages (often followed by of)"
So, let's take that in (seriously) and let's ask ourselves have we never felt this before? Is it wrong to have a sense of jealousy when someone is where you want to be or has the success that you want? because I know I have, but more importantly when you recognize that someone is successful and or has an advantage, what does that do for you, in other words, how do you in turn make that happen for you? Well, for me that gives me drive! I often ask myself, when I see successful people, "Why not me?" See for me, it does the complete opposite, and that is what I want it to do for you as well, jealousy can definitely be good for you- if you use it in the right way and here's how!
1. Make Some Moves. Let jealousy be your motivation to get up & get to work. There is nothing worse than knowing that you have the passion (or an even greater passion) for something but no drive #sad turn your jealousy into motivation and start planning your next steps.
2. Connect The Dots. Jealousy is another word for intense admiration, lol! No need to be a Peeping Tom, ask that individual to be a mentor or for some advice on how to go about being successful in the area that your are interested in. Most people who are successful have no problem giving back or helping the next man/woman, however if they do- it's NOT the end of the world, simply find a new mentor!
3. Be Grateful. Know that you are great & and that every experience that you have experienced up until now is preparing you for your purpose. Yes, jealously can sometimes bring about emotions that aren't positive, so stop! Don't beat yourself up for not being where you want to be at this time but do recognize your accomplishments that you have made and be grateful. You are on your way to the top, don't doubt your progress, as small or as large as it may be, any progress is progress!
At the end of the day, don't allow this feeling to turn you into the green-eyed monster and just know that the grass is sometimes greener because of the shit fertilizing it. If you are currently experiencing jealousy or some jealous behavior that is an indication that there is something or somewhere you desire to be. So why not use this feeling to your advantage and create some goals towards being equally successful?! Jealousy can be a good thing, if it is acted out in a positivity!
