Got Allergies???

The devil is testing my faith... my faith ain't NEVER small. How am I being tested? ALLERGIES- Man down! I have always battled allergies, however the older I get the more frustrated I am, mostly because I don't have time to be walking around with a diaper bag-for myself; tissues, eye drops, nasal spray, q tips etc. Everyday I am seconds away from gauging out my eyeballs and placing them in a bowl of cool water; I am tired of waking up crusty and going to sleep drippy. In my defense, before you ask, YES- I've tried all the major allergenic over the counter medicines, they not only make me drowsy but almost got me fired. I can recall one day while at work my principal woke me up from a deep sleep, "Mrs. Sy, you cannot sleep during class!" YUP I feel asleep- not for 5 minutes BUT 20 minutes. Luckily at the time I was a teacher's assistant but none the less, lesson learned! Since that major catastrophe I have realized that I needed to take a much lighter approach to combating the pollen. In the past I've taken a teaspoon of raw honey in the morning and in the evening, DO NOT buy it a Kroger, seriously go to a Farmer's Market or a Whole Foods and purchase an all natural raw honey. From what I've gathered, when a person eats local honey, they are thought to be ingesting local pollen. Over time, a person may become less-sensitive to this pollen. As a result, they may experience fewer seasonal allergy symptoms #batheinhoney. Taking the honey works!!! But I feel like the devil has sunken to an all time low and has hit me with a mortal kombat combination of allergies and I need more....more of something to keep me from itching & dripping. If you feel like me, hold your tissue-I've done my research- stop rubbing your eyes, scratching your throat and blowing your nose, instead do this!

Combat Allergies Naturally

1. Drink Peppermint Tea

2. Table spoon of raw honey in the morning & before bed

3. Rub Frankincense oil around the eye (DO NOT PUT IT IN YOUR EYE!). I did it, it worked instantly for itchy eyes + it helps fight dark spots #winning

4. Stay hydrated!

5. Eat pineapples!! Pineapples have a enzymes that reduces your reaction to seasonal allergies

6. Apple Cidar VVinegar. Helps to boost the immune system, helps to break up mucus and supports lymphatic drainage. Three times per day, mix one tablespoon of ACV with one tablespoon of fresh-squeezed lemon juice, and a half-tablespoon of local raw honey and drink.

Disclaimer: I AM NOT A DOCTER, I have tried these natural products and they seem to be working. If you are up to trying the items listed, please let me know how it goes. Best of luck , I wish you no more more itching and dripping. As always thanks for starting your work week with me!!!
