When it comes to hair, for some reason- there are some of us who want long and flowy hair, am I right or am I wrong? (I could be wrong...) I feel this way because most hair products either advertise to aid in growth or retain moisture and growth ("no more split ends!)". There are so many products out on the market making these promises and so many of us fall in the advertising trap of what works and what to buy. Recently, I learned that there is a new "Miracle Grow" and to my surprise it's been around for a long time, just for a different purpose. Ladies and Gentleman- Vicks Vapor Rub has become a trending topic (again) and this time not to help you breath easier but to stimulate hair growth. Don't believe me....?
Those brave enough to have tried have contributed their hair growth to the ingredients that stimulate blood flow= hair growth.
Hair stimulating ingredients:
1. Camphor
2. Menthol
3. Eucalyptus oil
After reading a couple of reviews from individuals who tried this product on their scalp they stated that they did so overnight just prior to washing their hair the next day. They mentioned that they enjoyed the minty-fresh-tingly feeling that Vicks Vapor Rub provided and that within a 2 weeks span of time they did notice hair growth! If your mouth is still wide open- watch this!
So, are you considering trying Vicks Vapor Rub on your scalp to stimulate hair growth? Or have you said, "Oh hell no!" 10x already? I'm not sure if I can handle or would even want to walk around smelling like menthol all day for a couple more inches of hair. However I do think it could work, what do you think? Would you try it? Have you tried it? What products are you using to maintain and retain hair growth?
As always thanks for starting your work week with me!
