The 5-Hour Rule.

Have you ever felt "stuck" and in need of something, directions and or advice to move ahead or to finally pursue your passion? Well it seems that this is a very common feeling for a lot of people. The newest remedy to this is called: The 5 -Hour Rule. Some experts are saying that the 5 hour rule has proven to have such an impact that it is followed and hailed by successful individuals such as Oprah, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerburg. However, don't confuse learning with working, working non-stop is doesn't contribute to learning and more or less this is how you can end up feeling stuck. People who follow the rule correctly believe that The 5 -Hour Rule can transform you from ordinary to successful, so what is the rule?

Set aside 5-hours- one hour a day for 5 days, in devotion to learning something as to regain an awareness of not only self but purpose.

In The 5- Hour Rule you must be reading, reflecting and experimenting. The 5-Hour rule is about learning on purpose, not about hoping to learn something. In order to do so you must set specific learning goals + give yourself time to achieve them = improvement. Prior to learning about The 5- Hour Rule I had re-fallen in love with reading, thanks to my Social Media sister Myleik Teele (she doesn't know me....yet!) she informed her podcast listeners to read more and to read non-fiction books because they are more applicable to our lives, so applying reading for an hour a day hasn't been hard at all for me. Reading is a habit of highly successful people! After reading on purpose for an hour each day take out your journal and reflect on what you have just learned, ultimately you're developing new ideas. Once you've reflected over what you've learned, test it out. The most successful products are a result of experimentation, remember there is no such thing as failure, either you win or learn!

Sounds silly but long before I even knew that it was called, The 5 -Hour Rule, I was already doing it! As I mentioned earlier I was reading and I chose to read about starting up a business, naturally I then started writing down what I wanted and literally before I even knew it Wrapologie came to me. I experimented with head wraps and head bands, because I love head wraps and head bands and people love my products too! I haven't made it yet per say, but I acted out an idea all from devoting time to increasing my own knowledge and I feel better about what I am doing with my life right now. I have purpose and passion and I assure you that you will too, it's just an hour a day- watch what happens next. If you’re always thinking about your job & your family, you don't have time to consider your own long-term self-improvement, which means you'll remain "stuck". #Noexcuses take inspiration from my results and Oprah (heyyyy Oprah!) and spend 5 hours a week on deliberate learning.

As always thanks for ending your work week with me!
