When you've done something wrong, the best thing in life to do is to just be honest. Honestly, honesty gets you so much further in life- so today (and everyday after) I choose to walk in my honesty. Have I ever cheated, yes! Am I proud of it no!!!!! Do I look at others like, "Cheaters are losers!"- all the time, but I am only human and that makes it okay...right!? A couple of weeks ago I posted on my Instagram that I was starting a juice cleanse and that I was pumped up and ready to shed this body and bring forth another layer of awesome/dopeness - well, truth is I lied & I cheated and then it went down hill from there. I think honestly I am dieting wrong, I feel like I don't know what to or what not to eat. Some days I think, okay just go green smoothies for 5 days- I end up devouring Wendys by 5pm- Day 1, then I think fruits and vegetables only-I end up devouring Wendys by 5pm- Day 1 and then I think Paleo (you know, meats and veggies-not carbs)-I end up devouring Wendys by 5pm- Day 1= unaccomplished and disgusted. Can you relate? Stop screaming at yourself, "HOW DO I STOP CHEATING ON MYSELF AND MY DIET??????" Don't stress, I think I've found some answers. #pickupyourwhiteflag
Now I am still in the embryo stage of this, meaning I haven't started developing but there is evidence of life!
How To Stop Cheating On Your Diet:
1. Journal. Mad about having to pass up fried chicken, yams, cornbread, a Fanta orange and upside down pineapple cake...ME TOO. Instead of becoming grouchy, write about it. Get mad, but write it down instead of eating it! Mind or Matter.
2. Lift. Lift is an app that is all about lifting you up and supporting you in your new life change. You log in each day to record that you did what you said you were going to do.
3. Smart Substitutions. Instead of BBQ Chicken try BBQ Cauliflower.........trust the process!
4. Kick Out The Triggers. Gurlfriends, Baby Daddies, Boos, Baes, Husboos, Husbands, Mother-in-laws, restaurants, vending machines- ALL trigger foods/people.
5. Water. Drink ice cold water, your body will burn calories trying to heat it up...the colder, the better!!!! #winning
Okay.....so......I am definitely going to mentally go for gold with the hope that I can drag my body over the line with this newly found information
