I have been so ready for this day! I cannot tell you how much I've grown in 2017 and a lot of my growth were growing pains. I feel like the beginning of this New Year is definitely- a much needed breath of fresh air. So, to make sure that I hold onto all of this excitement and good energy in how I feel about the New Year, I need to make some ground rules for myself- so that I don't let it go! Continue to read my top 3 ways to keep the momentum going throughout the New Year... Cheers to new chances and new ways in 2018!

365 new days. 365 new chances.

1. Let go. If you've checked out my Instagram (or if not, click here- follow me) you might notice how I've been inspired by Myliek Teele to read more self-empowerment/ self-help books. In all of the books that I have read thus far, they all key in on letting go. I encourage you to let go too; let go of the fear of what could happen and what others will say. Step out on faith and make it happen! Whatever it is you want to do, see or create you must let go and when you do the momentum won't stop, watch!

2. Organize. 2 days before the New Year I literally ran into Target to purchase a planner because organization matters. Momentum cannot thrive in chaos, it needs organization so that the focus is maintained. I personally go in and out of being organized and being a hot unorganized mess, however I will say this, when I am organized I operate like a boss!

3. Research. I am currently learning a lot about a new creative business adventure that I plan to jump on ASAP this New Year. I've let go of my fears, organized my planner i.e. found space to fit it into my current work life but more importantly, I am researching the hell out of this idea. Learning about a new business, adventure etc. creates the confidence and builds the knowledge that you need in order to be able to do what it is that you want to do.

And there you have my 3-step recipe to keeping the momentum and being a boss in 2018. I truly believe that this is will be OUR year to achieving success and going after what we want. If you are really inspired and you live in the Columbus area check out my blog course on January 6th, I'm spilling the all the tea in my 101 course to starting your blog off right!!! click here for more info. Lastly, remember, success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts. Keep the momentum and I'll see you at the top!

HAPPY NEW YEAR,

Normal Black Chic
